Overview
The Mythic Trial is a long-term progression system built around continuous monster hunting and Soul absorption.
This is not a short quest. It is a sustained journey that requires dedication, consistency, and endurance.
To begin, speak with Elder Arcanis and accept the quest “Soul Collector.”
Quest: Soul Collector
Once accepted, you will receive the required Soul Collector item.
- This item must be equipped in order to absorb Monster Souls.
- Every monster you defeat while it is equipped will transfer its Soul into the collector.
- If the Soul Collector is not equipped, Souls will NOT be gathered.
- Unequipping it will immediately stop progression.
This system is designed to reward long-term activity and active farming.
Soul Progress Tracking
The Soul Collector displays:
- Souls Collected (%)
- Souls Count (X / Required Amount)
Progress updates automatically after each monster kill.
- The higher the required amount, the longer the journey becomes.
- There are no shortcuts — only persistence.
Soul Milestones
Players must fully complete each Soul requirement before advancing:
- 10,000 Souls
- 20,000 Souls
- 40,000 Souls
- 80,000 Souls
Each milestone represents a significant amount of monster hunting and sustained activity.
The quest cannot be exchanged or progressed until the required Soul amount is fully completed.
Partial progress does not unlock advancement.
System Rules
- Only monster kills count toward Soul collection.
- The Soul Collector must remain equipped.
- Removing or unequipping the item halts progression.
- Advancement requires full completion of the current Soul requirement.
- The system is designed for long-term engagement.
Soul Keeper Liora
Once you have collected Souls with the Soul Collector, you can visit Soul Keeper Liora to exchange them for rewards of your choice.
- Role: Liora is the only NPC who can convert collected Souls into valuable items, gear, or other special rewards.
- Exchange Mechanics:
- Approach Liora after reaching a Soul milestone.
- Choose from available rewards; the number and type of rewards depend on the Souls you’ve gathered.
- The more Souls you collect, the better the reward options.
Important Notes: Souls cannot be spent elsewhere — only Liora can handle exchanges. Rewards are selectable; you can decide which items suit your progression style. Milestones must be fully completed before Liora can process exchanges.
